Produkty amerykańskiej firmy Symposium Acoustics zostały zaprojektowane w celu istotnej redukcji bądź prawie całkowitej eliminacji negatywnych efektów wibracji mechanicznych, jakie oddziałują na wysokiej jakości sprzęt audio i video. Oferta firmy zawiera stoliki, półki i platformy antywibracyjne oraz różnorodne kulkowe stopki, podkładki czy sprzęgi stosowane zamiast fabrycznych nóżek w komponentach audio.

Test stolika Symposium Acoustics Osiris w SoundStage Ultra

Sonically and aesthetically, it takes a back seat to no competitor I have heard or seen, regardless of cost, and it definitively outperformed my lower-priced Symposium Standard racks. Were this rack sold by almost any other company, it would likely cost $25,000 or more. Indeed, its parts alone, if melted down, would fetch a very pretty OFC penny. Test plafrom antywibracyjnych Symposium Segue ISO Platform w Positive Feedback

Which makes the Symposium Acoustics Segue ISO an easy recommendation for a wide range of turntables. For many vintage decks (like mine), it's a no-brainer, I'm buying the review sample. As a $349 upgrade, it should be well within the reach of owners of the many "entry High End" tables from Rega/Pro-Ject/Music Hall/VPI etc.—which typically have little or no effective isolation. Hold off on that new cartridge until you try one, pal. On the other hand, owners of "serious machines" in the $2-5K and up range should not hesitate to take one out for a spin—especially the MD version for decks over 44lb: there's no other economical option for the heavyweights. Symposium Acoustics has made it clear to me that their suite of products is essential to maximizing the potential of any high end system. The company is not the flavor of the month, and they have continually looked to improve their products with an intelligent approach with the intention of solving real world problems, with proven theory, and experimentation. The anti-vibration system from Symposium will bring out the best from our components without changing their timbre and general sonic parameters for which we already value them. The amount of treble does not change for example. With the platform the treble gets more vibrant and saturated but its overall level remains exactly the same. Some improvements like superior resolution, vibrancy and definition are clear and reproducible from album to album. Nevertheless none of it changes the overall tonal balance. Wojciech Pacula

When used with really exceptional gear, they free equipment from whatever is holding it back from achieving a level of sonic nirvana. You know... that silly thing that all of us are striving for in our pursuit of musical enjoyment. The Symposium Quantum is not cheap, but its benefits with appropriate equipment are impossible to ignore. Very highly recommended. Ian White

When I later had time to rearrange things so I could use the Ultra platform with the set of Symposium Rollerblocks I already had, the improvement was even more noticeable, and totally without any adverse side effects, as far as I could tell. However, if I had to pick only one, it seemed that the Ultra platform alone lowered noise and enhanced resolution more than did the Rollerblocks alone. John Marks

As I spread things around a little, the sound of the entire system benefited, and when I finally added Symposium shelves to the speakers, the synergy of multiple Symposium products took my system to unprecedented heights.
